An introduction then:

Graham is the name, and I live in Nelson, Lancashire, with Lizzie, our Dog, and four Cats,

This is a view across the valley to Pendle Hill taken after the first snow of Winter 2004.

Famous for The Witches - It rises to just over 1500 feet a.s.l.

In June 1998 I succesfully completed, as a Mature Student, a B.Sc.(Hons) in Integrated Technology at Accrington and Rossendale College, in partnership with Sheffield University.

In 1999 I had an Ileostomy. To learn more, visit the ia Web Site

This was followed in March 2001 by a Sigmoid Colectomy, which was intended to solve any outstanding problems. However after suffering a prolapse, one has to say, not.

I have had an Amateur Radio Licence since 1980, although the interest goes back to my early teens. In fact I first joined the RSGB in 1963, when I left school. (Well, that gives a clue to my age anyway.)

On the radio side, I am currently active on HF, and occasionally on VHF.

I am the RSGB QSL Sub-Manager for the M5 series of Callsigns, and a Member of

The QSL Manager's Society

I'd better throw this one in here - but don't let your children see it, if they are of a nervous disposition.

My picture - not very pretty!

Oh, and by the way, another interest is........

Long Train

Regards to All
